WHAT YOU MISSED BY NOT BEING HERE...

Stocking Full of Love (SFOL) toy run in November was just one of the many functions and fundraisers last year to raise money for the SFOL.  Members work hard at every function year-round so families can count on toys at Christmas time.  2008 was a hard year, especially in Walker County as every major employer cut their work force; so the demand for toys skyrocketed.  The Al Millard Stocking Full of Love was up to the task!
Above, Chattanooga Fire Fighter Association member Mike Baronavski, and worker Malinda present the second donation check of the year to Walker County Sheriff, Steve Wilson...they also had a pretty chilly ride that day!  Thanks to our players we were able to donate a second check this past year.

Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association Christmas Club

On Thursday, Stocking Full of Love Night, we unveiled our new "Christmas Club"!  In order to raise more money for the Stocking Full of Love, players joined our club to give money and win prizes along the way...we now have over 30 charter members and donations over $300.00.  Thank you again Rossville Charity Bingo Players...you are the BEST!!!

The CFFA Christmas Club is for the benefit of Al Millard’s Stocking Full of Love (SFOL) organization.  This club is not for monetary profit...although I feel spiritual profit is very likely.  Each year SFOL is taxed by more and more requests for assistance around Christmas: last year there were over 16,000 applications taken.

As an organization the Chattanooga Fire Fighters can only give so much to one cause we donate to many charities in and around Chattanooga; so here is what we propose:

The Chattanooga Fire Fighters Christmas Club (CFCC) will be a multi-tiered process of monthly giving wherein donations are collected for the benefit of SFOL.  For monthly donations, a series of prizes will be offered to the giver.  The larger the denomination the more prizes are available up to $50.00 annually per card.  100% of monies donated will be given to the SOFL.

Awarding of some prizes will be instantaneous with chances to win greater prizes as the giver continues to make donations.  Minimum donation is $1.00, and continues up to $50.00 per card.  Donations will culminate each year in November on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving.  All donations gathered through the CFCC will be donated to SOFL on the first Thursday of December.  The check, donated from the CFCC, will be made on behalf of the PLAYERS OF ROSSVILLE CHARITY BINGO.

...if you missed this, you should have been here!

2010 Labor Day Donation to Stocking Full of Love, It was our pleasure to donate another $2500.00 to this worthy cause: this day was made better by Sheriff Wilson being on hand this year, after his battle with cancer! Bruce Coker was just glad he didn't have to have the picture made by himself this year!
